The Trials Of Apollo consists on five books narrating the adventures that the god Apollo goes through. When he is tossed from MT. Olympus, situated in NY, he is sent down to Earth. This was, however, not the first time he was cast down from the heavens. Even though he is a god, he finds himself stranded in the middle of NY without any help or godly powers. Due to this, he finds himself unwillingly bound to Meg Mcuffury. Without his godly powers, there is only one safe place, Camp Half - Blood, the save little heaven for demigods in NY.
How do you punish a god? By making him human. After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disoriented, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus's favor. But Apollo has many enemies—gods, monsters, and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go . . . an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.
